About Urjo
URJO was established In 2007 with the goal to reassure and restore self confidence in women
going through midlife crises, primarily due to menopause and empty nest syndrome. URJO is a
voluntary organization and the word literally means “Power”. We emphasize the power within
women and encourage them to find ways and means to empower themselves and stay happy.

Advanced Martial Arts Training Workshop at Nijoloy, a home for the underprivileged girls
The 7 days Advanced Workshop at Nijoloy, a home for the under privileged girls, was inaugurated on 20th May,2026. It was a successful workshop with forty underprivileged girls participating.

The second celebration was held on 18th March, 2026 and this event focused on ‘Bhalo Theko’ …on the physical and mental well being of members.
